Study of Local Birds

These are some simple studies of mainly backyard birds local to the Seattle area/PNW. I love studying and identifying who comes to my bird feeders every day! All studies are based off of reference photos that I personally took with my phone. The only one that is (obviously) not local is the Gouldian Finch which is native to Australia. However, they were selling one at a local pet store, and I just found his colors so brilliant, I had to try and capture them!
