This door and door frame pairing are meant for the largest vehicles in the game. At this size, it was near impossible to fit everything one to one on a texture sheet. In order to maximize texture usage for something this size, many different edges and faces were made into tiling trims in order to cover all of the mesh in an effortless way. A majority of this model was also mirrored as well, so I had to get creative with piece reuse in order to avoid a completely symmetrical appearance. In the first in-level screenshot, you can see a corrosive barrel for size reference, which is roughly half the height of a player.
I also gave the warning stripes their own flecks of metalness to resemble night reflective gear, my own personal touch!
